Regretfully, due to COVID-19, the Sunflower Festival Committee has voted to cancel the 2020 festival scheduled for September. We sincerely apologize to our citizens and vendors for this inconvenience and situation.
We hope that with enough time and community effort, the Halloween Festival that is scheduled to take place October 2020 will still be held. During these unprecedented times, we will continue to monitor the COVID pandemic, and will only do what is best for both our community and citizens.
Clean-Up Week
The City will try to sponsor Clean Up Week in connection with the Great American Clean Up and Keep Barrow Beautiful. The City encourages its citizens who live inside the city limits to "clean up" and use the dumpsters provided. City residents will receive notification when a clean-up day is scheduled.
