The Statham Municipal Court has limited jurisdiction within the city limits of Statham. The primary responsibility of the Court is receiving, processing and adjudicating all cases of alleged violations of the City Ordinances and any state laws where jurisdiction has been granted to the Court.
Municipal Court meets regularly on the second Monday of every month, unless otherwise rescheduled.
Please make note of the following policies:
The city does NOT allow reschedules made on the day of court. Any requests should be directed to the court email courtclerk@stathampd.com.
On court day, calls received are transferred to voice mail. The city can NOT take payments over the phone. Payments must be made online or in person at the police department.*There will be a Service Fee charged for online payments.
The phone number on the bottom of the traffic citation is where payments can be made via automated service, 770-288-0285.
Your last name and citation# information is needed to pay online\or by phone.
City staff cannot schedule any court dates over the phone. Court dates are scheduled by the officer for traffic citations. If reschedules are required they must be made via email at courtclerk@stathampd.com.
If the "Must Appear" box is checked on your citation, or if you have multiple citations, and only one that has the "Must Appear" box checked, you will not be able to pay any of your fines online and you must appear in court for all violations.
